Senior Software Engineer - Westchester County, New York
Autonomic is seeking a senior software engineer to work in our Armonk, New York office. Responsibilities include new development, software enhancements, root cause defect analysis, device interfaces, and designing/engineering audio/video solutions. Projects include internal product development as well as contract development projects for top manufacturers in the custom electronics industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Devise, design, and develop software to support our products.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and support of our existing software.
- Develop system specifications, class diagrams, and architectural design.
- Provide client support and troubleshooting when required.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- 5+ years experience programming in C, C++, Microsoft C# .Net, or Objective C.
- Platform experience with Linux, Windows, Apple OS-X, or iPhone / iPad.
- Experience working with communications protocols and standards (TCP/IP, RS-232, XML, HTTP).
- Some web programming experience (HTML, PHP, ASP, JavaScript, or ActionScript).
- Bachelors in computer systems engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or similar.
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- Experience with two way A/V control platforms such as Crestron, AMX, RTI, URC.
- Experience with Adobe creative tools (Flash, Photoshop, Dreamweaver).
- Knowledge of audio/video systems, configuration, common issues and solutions.
